Nessa - Original character

Nessa tried never to repeat the walk home. When she finished school she crossed any path, except one already known. Her eyes looked through the algae and the bubbles trying to discover something new that she had never seen before. Every day she found herself enjoying playing with a little newborn turtle or happy after finding a particularly shiny shell.
But that day was different.
That day the wonder happened.
